You could say the beautiful game is coming to C2 Montréal. A truly international sport, soccer builds bridges, uniting nations and cultures through and beyond competition. At the elite level, the game’s governing body, FIFA, oversees much more than simply a professional sports tournament — it spearheads the creation of common bonds and emotions that connect humans across borders. 

In 2026, the 23rd edition of soccer’s greatest showcase, the FIFA World CupTM, will for the very first time feature 48 teams and three host countries: Canada, Mexico and the United States. We are therefore extremely honoured to have one of the sport’s great transformers and ambassadors gracing the stage at C2MTL23: Victor Montagliani, Vice-President of FIFA, President of Concacaf and Chair of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM.
